Why MatchOn

Hobby cricket ends at the gully. Development doesn't.

Most kids in Indore play cricket the way we all did — a few overs after school, no structure, no feedback, no season to build towards. It's fun, and it stops there.

MatchOn 2.0 closes that gap. One consistent Sunday, every week for three months, with the same coaches, the same teammates and a real competition at the end of it. That repetition is what builds stamina, grit and the confidence to walk out to bat when the game is tight.

It is play-first and match-oriented on purpose. Kids learn cricket by playing cricket — not by standing in a queue for net time.

How it works

Three layers, one Sunday

Every Sunday morning stacks athletic development, an LTAD-backed curriculum and real cricket gameplay into the same four hours.

Athletics & Movement Fundamentals

Running mechanics, speed and agility, balance, coordination and age-appropriate strength work — the athletic base every young cricketer needs before technique can hold up under pressure.

LTAD-Backed Curriculum

Built on the Long-Term Athlete Development model: age-appropriate progression, physical literacy before specialisation, and load that respects a growing body.

Cricket Gameplay

Batting, bowling and fielding taught through play — game sense, decision making, teamwork, captaincy and leadership on a real ground, not a queue at the nets.

Parents

What families tell us

My son used to bat only in the building parking lot. One season of MatchOn and he understands field placements, calls his own singles, and asks me to wake him at 6 on Sunday.
