How do I register my child?

Open the Register page, complete the three-step form (child details, parent details, preferences) and pay the ₹500 registration fee online. Your assessment slot is confirmed once the payment is verified, and you receive a registration ID to track status.

Who is eligible?

Kids in two age groups only: 8–12 years and 12–16 years. The age group is set automatically from your child's date of birth at registration.

What should my child bring on a Sunday?

The MatchOn jersey from the welcome kit, sports shoes, a filled water bottle, a cap and sunscreen. Personal bats and gloves are welcome; match balls, stumps and training equipment are provided.

How do the assessment, selection and auction work?

Accepted Answer

On assessment day players are evaluated on cricket skills, fitness and athletic ability, and a playing role is identified — Batsman, Bowler or All-rounder. Selected players pay the ₹3,000 participation confirmation fee and enter the auction pools, where teams draft players based on assessment performance and role.

What are the fees, exactly?

₹500 registration fee to secure an assessment slot, and ₹3,000 participation confirmation fee that applies only if your child is selected. Total for a selected player is ₹3,500. There are no monthly, drop-in or hidden charges.

What is the refund and cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

The ₹500 registration fee is non-refundable. The ₹3,000 confirmation fee is fully refundable if the player withdraws at least one week before the player auction takes place, and non-refundable once your child has been drafted into a team. If MatchOn cancels the season, both fees are refunded in full.

What about safety and first aid?

Every ground has a first-aid kit and a trained first-aid responder on duty for the full 7:00–11:00 AM window, along with an ambulance-on-call arrangement. Helmets are mandatory for batters facing hard-ball overs in the 12–16 group.

What happens if it rains or a Sunday is cancelled?

We take the call by 6:00 AM and notify parents on the registered phone number. Cancelled Sundays are rescheduled to the earlist next weekend or a public holiday.

Who coaches the sessions?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are led by BCCI Level 1/Level 2 certified coaches and former district and state-level cricketers, supported by fitness trainers who work to the LTAD model. Every coach on the ground is background-verified.

Can parents watch?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Parents are welcome for the entire Sunday window at every ground and we encourage it, especially on assessment day, auction day and through the December league.
